"I can recommend Sharron Mack unreservedly to help you train your dog. Give her a try. You will not be disappointed."

~ John S., North Falmouth

Positively Yours Dog Training is unique in its approach to dog obedience. We use praise, treats and toys to reward your dog for doing what you ask him to do. Because the reward makes him more likely to repeat the behavior, positive reinforcement is one of our most powerful tools for shaping or changing your dog's behavior. In summary, we reward the behaviors we want and ignore those we do not want.

Puppy Classes

Start your puppy off on the right paw by enrolling him in our 6-week Puppy Kindergarten. We cover: sit, down, stay, come, walk nicely on leash, leave it and greet visitors without jumping.

Class duration: 6 weeks
Puppies 8 weeks to 6 months

Adult Classes

Obedience I

The class is designed to build a solid foundation that includes sit, down, stay, come, loose-leash walking, leave it, greet people without jumping and greet other dogs without getting overexcited. The outcome of this class is a well-mannered dog.

Class duration: 6 weeks
Dogs 6 months and older

Obedience II

This class is a continuation of training from Obedience I. It helps students polish and proof behaviors so that they are reliable and consistent. Class content will include: getting your dog to the next level of training using reliable down/stays, come, walking without pulling, heeling, polite dog-to-dog greetings and calm manners around guests.

Class duration: 6 weeks
Prerequisite: Obedience I

Private Lessons

We'll focus on just what is important to you. Possible topics include what is covered in Obedience I and II above, as well as individual problem behaviors that can be addressed with positive reinforcement. Sessions can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for you and can be conducted at your home or at Cape Cod Pet Resort on Route 151 in North Falmouth, MA.

Duration: Typically 1 hour, but can be adjusted to your needs

Free Consults

It is important for us to understand your dog's training needs before you begin the training. This will help ensure that both you and your dog are set up for success.
